When you are booking your function - Lets assume it's a Wedding. You have booked the Church, the Dress has been made, the Rings have been purchased, the Limousines have been booked, the Caterers have been booked, the Reception room has been arranged. Now it is time to choose your entertainment: Band or Disco?
You have chosen a Disco. Now you have to get on the phone and canvas for prices. Why is it that after selecting the best that you can afford for all the above you now decide to select the cheapest disco that you can find?
Lets face it, you might have a fabulous Reception room and an extravagant cake, but don't you want to send your guests home saying: "What a great party that was to end such a wonderful day".
How many times have you been to a function when you can honestly remember how good the food was, what the host/hostess was wearing or what the surroundings were like? I bet you can't remember any of these things, but I bet you can remember the parties that you have been to and enjoyed! The parties that you have enjoyed have been attended by good DJ's. It is the DJ that selects the music that will appeal to your guests and sets the mood and atmosphere for the evening.
If you were listening to a radio station and the records kept jumping, the DJ's microphone kept "squeaking" or the DJ kept chatting over the records wouldn't you turn it off or switch to another station? Booking a professional DJ with professional equipment will minimise the risk of this occurring.
